Guided routes to see the Ezaro Waterfall

In the Corcubión estuary the world seems made by giants

Nearby is Mount Pindus, the Sacred Olympus of the Celts.

We will see the port of Corcubión, of great importance since ancient times. The classical chroniclers mention that the pre-Roman population of the region belonged to the proto-Celtic tribe of the Nerios.

If the Romans arrived at Fisterra (Finis Terrae) where the Ara Solis was located, the appearance of vestiges that attest to the Roman presence in Corcubión cannot be surprising, as its cove is the most protected place and natural port of the estuary. During the journey we will pass at the foot of the Cardenal Castle, which was built in order to defend the estuary from outside attacks in the 18th century. This fortification is paired with the Prince's Castle, in Ameixenda (Cee), located on the other side of the estuary, allowing, through crossfire, the defense of the Corcubión cove.

A journey full of adventure, spectacular surroundings and culture.
