We currently offer you two guided kayak routes. The most iconic is the journey to see the Ezaro Waterfalls located in this same town belonging to Dumbría on the Costa da Morte. And the second is the kayak trip, we call it the Furnas route to the end of the earth, the latter takes place along the coast, open sea and is for more experienced people. Both kayak routes are guided at all times. In the latter it is from 15 years old and both you have to know how to swim.

We will meet 15 minutes before your reservation time. The meeting point is at Río do Barco beach. It is the beach that is next to the bridge looking at the mountain. Drop off in front of the Hotel Mar do Ezaro. At the intersection you will find a sign that says kayak but we leave you the link so you can put it in the GPS Link

You will realize that it is a beach, get off with the vehicles and park. That is the starting and ending point of the activity.

No experience necessary. The important thing is to know how to swim. In any case, before starting the activity you have to come 15 minutes before, the technicians will teach you how to use the self-emptying boats that you carry, they will equip you with your respective approved vests and paddles, they will give you a lesson of handling in a simple and very useful way that you will probably remember in other destinations when you go on kayak routes in the future.

Kayak initiation class

It is an activity for all audiences. Minors must be accompanied by adults. From 16 years old they can come with the authorization of their guardian. And remember that you have to know how to swim.

The smaller children's vests are especially appropriate for them.

Small children who are accompanied by two adults in the same kayak will only pay for the insurance. Remember when you make your reservation and indicate your age.

If the activity takes place in summer and the temperature is good, swimsuit, sun protection and a cap. In the case of spring, comfortable sports clothing or similar. In winter we equip you with neoprene bibs and windbreakers.

Remember, the day before the activity they will always remind you how you have to come prepared.

At the meeting point where the activity begins is a beach area and there cannot be any type of facility to preserve the environment, so you must park the vehicle and put a towel and clothes in your trunk to change later. Also on Ezaro beach 50 meters away you have public showers. And about 400 meters away you have complete bathrooms from the Dumbría town hall with very frequent cleaning checks. Recommendable.

The price includes all our customer service services, material necessary to carry out the activity, initiation course, instructors, civil liability insurance and accident insurance. During the development of the activity, the monitors will take some photos that we will pass on to you as a souvenir. As long as conditions allow it since the guides always ensure safety.

Weather conditions always influence. Being a tourist activity, we always value the forecasts and place a lot of importance on the wind, since the important thing is to enjoy the surroundings. As a general rule, if there is a risk alert published, the activity is suspended as soon as we have the warning or forecast. On other occasions, due to our location, the AEMET forecast is not adjusted. In that case, if the technicians consider that it is not advisable to carry out the activity, it can be suspended on the same day as the activity.

Yeah. In the event that the activity is suspended due to weather conditions, the reservation amount is automatically returned through the same channel that was made. Or you can also do the activity another day in better conditions but we always give you a choice.

The boats we use on our kayak routes are safe. They are from the Rotomod brand, a leader in companies that are dedicated to offering kayak routes for all audiences. So, calm down. Before starting the activity in the preparation course, we teach you how to get on and off the kayak in different situations, we teach you how to paddle and brake, although you will always be accompanied by your guides.

Get out of the kayak

Yeah. On all our kayak routes you are accompanied by instructors from the region, qualified and knowledgeable about the environment, who will ensure your safety so that you can enjoy the environment. Remember that you always have to follow their instructions. Although the activity takes place within the estuary, there could always be some unforeseen circumstance, since it takes place in the natural environment and nature is always alive.

Yes, you can bring your pet. They are part of the family. Keep in mind that it is not aggressive, a reason that you should consider since you are going in a group with more participants of different ages. Remember to bring a bag for excrement, water and a towel for your pet.

If it is a small dog and you go alone, you would go in your individual kayak and there would be no cost. If you prefer to go in a double kayak you would have to reserve two places. And if two people and a dog come, you have to reserve two places and one for the dog.
